Becoming characters bring stories to life. I find that children are more invested in the story if they can talk to, investigate and question the characters. I also encourage them to take a turn at being ‘in role’. Below you can see me as Lady Catherine at the No.1 Royal Crescent in Bath, helping KS2 plan a Georgian party. Helga, the lost Viking was really fun and I got to practice my swedish accent with Viking Training School. The red spectacled woman was Dr Do Do who was a lead suspect in hospital detective workshop.
