Last summer I was lucky enough to go to the first UK Skogsmulle training in Wale. Skogsmulle comes froM Sweden and is used in Early Years Education. Skogsmulle translates to ‘forest man’ and is the central character that facilitates children’s learning through firsthand sensory experiences in the outdoors. Many Swedish children take part in Skogsmulle sessions. It was a great few days telling stories and playing games outside, this experience has led me to train as a Forest School leader so I can begin to take more of my work outdoors!
