This weekend I have been working as an Events assistant at the amazing Newham Carnival with Emergency Exit Arts. The streets of Newham where alive with colour and music. The Carnival showcased the most wonderful costumes and floats created by community groups, schools and EEA. It was a exciting event to be part of celebrating the diverse communities in Newham. I have been extremely inspired by all the amazing crafting that was going on this weekend. It was also really fun to dance in the middle of the day down the high street!
